Edinburgh Coffee Morning and Me
I did it guys! I finally made it up in time to hang out with all the social media people who head on down to Edinburgh Coffee Morning at Centotre. Well, I was actually late – but that is generally the story of my life.
Anyway, less about my tardiness and more about EdCM. It was great. Started off sitting down and ordering a hot chocolate (amazing, by the way) and listening in on a few conversations. People were talking about everything and anything. It was rather difficult at first to get talking, not knowing who everyone was and why they were there, but after a while I felt really comfortable (and not the slightest bit weird) listening in on other peoples conversations.
There are some really remarkable and intelligent people at EdCM and I hope to drag my sorry ass out of bed more often on Friday mornings to hang out with these amazing people, doing amazing things.

Ediburgh Coffee Morning is getting so big now, maybe name badges are a good idea, if only to aid me when I forget everyone’s name, via ‘senior moments’ when trying to introduce folk.
