10:00 - Keynote begins.
10:00 - Steve on stage, introduces Tim Cook
10:01 - The usual, ‘Macs are great, OSX is better than Vista line’
10:03 - Bootcamp and VMware talked about.
10:06 - Chatting away, lots of Apple stores. 400,000 visitors a day.
10:07 - Mac sames at up 18%
10:08 - Apple is number one for Education, with 39% market share - surpassing dell.
10:10 - Time to talk about notebooks. Steve is back.
10:11 - Ive is out. He is the Senior VP for Design. He rocks.
10:12 - Taking about the ‘challenge’ of making a MacBook Pro strong.
10:13 - They’ve found the fix…

10:16 - New enclosures confirmed.
10:18 - Nvidia came to Apple with a new graphics ‘part’ they want Apple to enjoy.
10:21 - Five times faster, the VIDIA GeForce 9400 M
10:23 - A new trackpad, a large GLASS multitouch trackpad. Sans button.
10:24 - new MacBook Pros, back lit black keyboard, mini display port. All the ports on one side.
10:26 - Precision unibody enclosure.
10:27 - GeForce 9400M, and the GeForce 9600 GT
10:30 - 5 hours batter life, four in ‘turbo’ graphics mode.
10:31 - Two models: $1999 and $2499. In stores tomorrow. No 17″ version?
10:33 - MacBook Air: 128GB SSD option, faster graphics.
10:35 - New Air available in November, starting at $1700
10:37 - New display, 24″ LED backlit. Works will with MacBook Pro. Built in iSight.
10:38 - MacBooks - Same design as MacBook Pro but smaller.
10:40 - Glass trackpad, with multi-Touch
10:42 - $1299 MacBook is very much like today’s $1999 MacBook Pro
10:45 - Get it tomorrow, SSD option. RAM starting at 2, up to 4GB. 160GB HDD, up to 320GB CPU starting at 2.4Ghz
10:46 - So $999 for the current $1099 White Mac Book. And two new MacBooks for $1299 and $1599
10:55 - Q&A session.
10:57 - No blu-ray yet. Movies are good, licensing is difficult. There is always iTunes in HD
10:57 - 17″ MacBook Pro still will be available, and will be refreshed.
11:00 - Almost everybody loves the glossy screen. Even pro’s and photographers.
10:02 - Apple not sure of the Netbook market.
