Welcome to the blow by blow run down of the September 9th Apple “Let’s Rock” keynote presentation. Apple has invited members of the press to an event simply titled “Let’s Rock’ which suggests that today will be all about music, iPods and iTunes.
Below we’ll be updating the news from the event as soon as we get. You can see the events unfold on our Twitter account.
As you would expect, todays proceedings begin with the Apple Store closing for ‘updates’. New updates at the bottom, pictures to follow later today.

10:00 - Jobs is on stage. Usual outfit.
10:03 - iTunes, 65 million customers.
10:05 - iTunes 8 and NBC is back on iTunes
10:06: HD TV shows for $2.99, SD for $1.99
10:07 - New iTunes is all about Accessibility and Browsing
10:08 - New! Genius, song that go together, together.

10:25 - It is also good for the Environment. Well, it is not ‘bad’ for the environment!

10:28 - New headphones (not included), $79 and they sound lovely.
10:30 - iPod Touch
10:31 - Thinner, volume controls on the side and a built-in speaker. Like the iPhone.
10:32 - Better UI, and built in Nike+, all you need is the ‘thingy’ for your Nikes.
10:35 - 100 Million Apps downloaded in 60 days. Thats ‘100000000 over 60′ a day!

10:45 - Steve. He is back.
10:45 - 36 hours of tunes on the refreshed iPod Touch and six hours of video.
10:48 - 8GB for $229, 16GB for $299 and 32GB for $399.
10:50 - iPhone Firmware 2.1, things fixed.
10:52 - Crashing Apps fixed, backs up faster and out on Friday. Free if you own an iPhone. Also free if you don’t, but I don’t see why you would want it!
