On Wednesday of last week MacWord UK was reporting that Apple - perhaps in light of a far from perfect launch - were offering a £15 rebate to new customers only.  However, after a little digging around, I have discovered that Apple are also offering the rebate to existing customers here - hidden on the ‘past promotions’ section of the Apple Rebates website. The deal offer is exactly the same as that offered to customers buying Mobile Me after July 21st. 

Across the Pond in the United States, the Mobile Me rebate is slightly different in as much as you have to purchase an Apple Computer with your Mobile Me subscription to qualify for a $30 rebate. This offer applies to both new and old Mobile Me subscribers with the rebates split between the current rebate page and past rebate page in a move only designed to confuse customers.

Considering Apple’s lack of success in launching Mobile Me without error, the least they could do is ensure customers are aware of the rebates - especially the rebate offers that extend to the early adopters as apposed to focusing on new sales.
