With an iPhone announcement just around the corner, many people will be thinking of selling their beloved first generation iPhone companions to finance the upgrade. But with the prospect of an iPhone at the £100 ($200) price point, what hope to you have of recovering the £330 ($660) you put down for the 16GB version?
If the iPhone does launch of the £100 price point will you be able to sell your ‘old’ iPhone anywhere near this point? Probably not. However, last week I stumbled across a website called Mazuma Mobile offering £160 to ‘recycle’ your 16GB iPhone. They send you an envelope, you mail them the phone and they mail you a cheque. Job done, £60 ‘profit’.

This is my dilemma with purchasing brand new technology. The turnover rate is so ridiculously fast and of course each upgrade is planned for this exact reason. Companies maximize profits by incrementing available technologies that they most likely could have already put out. Bah!
iPhone for sell. I have one… the old iPhone companion. I need a new one like yesterday. Where to you sell these things anyway. The one I want cost $300 or so…I need a new iPhone.
One should wait for some more time before deciding upon to sell the older one for the new one. One can probably sell the old one now and wait for new one to be cheaper to buy it.
