Google Maps – with Public Transport Data

For those of you who don’t know, I recently moved to Edinburgh for University and all that. As a result I use Google Maps all the time to find my way about. The other day I noticed the option to get directions using public transport.

Give the BBC a break, at least they have something for Mac

The BBC has been getting a hard time recently due to no iPlayer downloads for mac. But at least they have SOMETHING. The good people over at ITV and C4 (pictured) have nothing, not even streaming content for us Mac users.

Lothian Buses, the most stressful way to travel.

I’m a student, I live in a city. I spend between 40 and 80 minutes a day on a bus. When you add that up over a week thats quite a bit. However, bus companies, unlike train operators don’t give a crap about you. Trains have refreshments, ticket inspectors, Wi-Fi and annoying PA announcements.
