Gifts for Engineers

Do you know an engineer? Does that engineer need a gift? If you answered ‘yes’ to both these questions (or even just the first one), GiftsForEngineers.com is for you!

Just before Christmas, I was continuing my quest to buy my friends the most amazing gifts ever. One of my friends is studying Civil Engineering at Glasgow and I was truly stumped as what to get her. In my moment of desperation, I turned to Google and entered the most inspired search string, ‘gifts+for+engineers’ and, as if by divine intervention, I discovered the above site.

Now, there are many types of engineer but not to worry, Gifts for Engineers divide their products up by profession so you can quickly find gifts ideal for your engineer.

The gifts range from inspired design items like the Aeroplane Ruler (from MoMa to the more ordinary like chocolates in the shape of protractors and t-squares and other drawing equipment that I won’t pretend to be familiar with.

Their product range is superb but thats not what makes this company amazing. There level of customer service and attention to detail really makes, Cincinnati based, Gifts of Engineers great!

I emailed them to establish where my order was and instead of a plain boring corporate response, I received a reply from a real person called Elizabeth who really seemed to care for me and my order.

And when my order did arrive (it was delayed by the Christmas and New Year holidays) the packaging was overkill. My relatively small tube of chocolates was mailed in a 1200mm triangular mailing tube with lots of soft fill and a a cool pack to prevent the chocolates melting in-transit.

Of course, the success of this gift depends very much on the reaction of my engineer, but Gifts for Engineers have fulfilled their end of the arrangement very well and I recommended you go check out all the nice things they offer. They will even ship internationally!

And a final note, inside the packaging I found a discount coupon for my next order - that just made my day!
